Sports has been in my DNA for as long as I can remember.
Hockey - I got my start in broadcasting when I was called upon by HockeyTV to announce a four day tournament in Dallas.
Here I am with colleague, Scott Powell, calling the Texas UIL Championship High School games for KXEZ - The Possum 92.1
Baseball - Announcing games for the Ventura County Pirates under the tutelage of Lew Stowers - former broadcaster for the Montreal, Expos, prepared me for announcing for colleges, universities, and minor leagues.
Calling games in the LA Valley for the California Collegiate wood bat league was a great experience and prepped me for larger teams.
Football - Playing football at Minot State University gives me a unique insight to the game. It’s an insight I use today calling games for a local radio station.
So proud to call games for this Lady Mavs team. What a great core of athletes. A winning season for a team with heart and courage.
